Looking good Ash.

you should be able to tackle plenty of "easy" tracks with those thats for sure.

I think you will have fun keeping the rims clean as well

What were they worth? Keep us updated on how they perform on and offroad. Might be an option when I finally get around to replacing my factory rubber, but will only be looking at 285/70/17's.

Had my heart set on BFG KM2s'. Had them in 33s' (285x75/17)and they were awesome. Unfortunately when time came to replace my MTZ 35s' (315x75/16) Michelin Australia (the owners of BFG) could not tell me when I could expect stock in this size Tried the US, heaps of availability but prohibited from shipping to Oz So I settled for these.

Couldn't be happier. Taller than the MTZs' and the KM2 that I have as my spare. Heaps quieter on road and handle real nice Can't wait to test them out at MOA in a few weeks

Yep it's almost impossible to get 35 BFG KM2 at the moment. I called up almost every single possible shop in AU and everybody said the same. There is a huge backorder and it will take over 3 month to get them, and thats not garantied. Tried in US, same problem in lots of shops, and the shops who had them, couldn't ship to AU or the shipping was almost as much as tyres.

I was very lucky to get 4 of them, thanks to Stu (Murchinson) and JAX Tyre Fit Bowen Hills. That was very surprising, because I already gave up and wanted to buy other brand. He called me unexpected on Wednesday, that he found them and on Saturday they were on ^^

So far I can say, totally worth all the stress and money

Yours are looking good as well I hope to get rid of the shiny look soon, yours are super shiny ^^

Default question for all the Mud users

Just to jump in on the tyre subject ,
All you guys running 33 and 35 muds in any brand ...honestly ..what is the ride and vibration like in 90k-110k range.
Just made the move to 33 MTZ`s and am having a love hate relationship. I was expecting a smoother ride up to 110 ,I did 400k yesterday and for the first time since owing my JK , I was glad to get out of it , so unless the balance job was crap which I know can be all it takes , I might be leaving the Mud Club!
I have had 37` KM2 on a 100 series, 35` KM2 on a TJ, 22" o rings on a Prado, 20`licorice on a RX8, so I am totally aware of all the variances ,and the relevance on road that these extremes can bring, just thought my 33 Muds on a JK was my most conservative choice of combination in my greying years.
So i look forward to hearing what everyone has to say .
Cheers
