Try "reverse" bleeding the system. I know it sounds like a load of hot cock but it worked for me. Take the slave off and stroke the push rod full length by hand, do it about 100 times slowly.
Apparently it bleeds the air back up to the reservoir.
Google it too I think there is a write up on the wrangler forum of ROF or one of them.

That is the correct method.

I was really trying to avoid taking the cylinder off again. But I think your right Toff. Ill just have to be bloody careful putting it back on again. lol

I was bleeding it using the little bleeder valve on to of the slave. Crack it open a touch and slowly pump the peddle until bubbles stopped. but more fluid then bubbles were coming out after about 20 pumps. Ill take it off today and and hand pump the bastard. This jeep had better be smiling after im done thats all i have to say
