And OME is hands down the twin tube corrugation and rough road champion of marketing in Australia. So yeh.

The bilstein and Fox mounting hardware on their lower end products is the weak point. This is where OME flogs them - much much stronger physically and more durable.

Yom, This comment confuses the Ship out of me...

All I was saying is do you need the extra oil, if not going to do the work theywere dsigned for...

I think I can see how that could be the case. However, in order to clarify, I was responding to your question which I guess you didn't expect to be answered.

I agree with you. The majority of weekend wheelers (typical JK use) do not need the remote res shock as they don't offer that much more in the way of improved performance over a decent monotube unless you're really pounding your suspension. About the only thing they off some users is that extra bit of shock travel.

I see clearly now said the blind man to the deaf man... LOL

The Shocks in question offer a superior ride for less coin (if purchased x USA), Greater travel length like everyone has mentioned earlier.

Their main draw back in this country is ; they could be hard to get if out in the boon docks somewhere and require a replacement. This is where OME or like should be easier to get.

So if ya going real bush for extended travel it's wise to see how hard it is to locate parts...

When we did the Kimberly's etc we had OME and BFG A/T's just for that reason. Everybody either had them or usually stocked them...

Now We're not doing that any more, on go the mud's and longer Bilstien's for more play and less Long distance travel.
