Default seat motors

Does anyone produce a replacement drive gear for the seat motors? The worm is good, it's just the shaft gear which has stripped teeth. All four lift motors are like this but the forward movement one is ok on both seats, probably because it has a finer thread on the main shaft.

I found a place in the US which has the motors at $77 and the shaft are I think $50 but have to wait till I get back from hols for the web site, try search for two men, one garage or something like that. Power win has the drive gear in brass for $110.

I took the motors out of the passenger seat today and noticed that the gear is actually moulded onto a knurled screw thread. Do you have to turn this off to attach the new gear with a pin or key?
