replaced the rubber bushes in the rubicon express lower control arms, with daystar poly urethane items part #KJ03010BK. the RE bushes were shagged & had not even done 15K.
on the NAXJA forum they were bitching about what a pain in the bum replacing the bushes were- as long as you have a vise it is very simple - don't see what the problem is/was.
hour and a half all up, if I had to do it again probably half that time.

Push the old bush out

Push the new bush in. used a bit of dish washing liquid as lube.

Heres the difference between the f*&kup and fix...

You can just see the lower shock mount under the spring...

And heres the fix...

Lowered the mount using 100x50 and made a new mount outa 50x50.

continuing small leak from the front diff cover...looks like its coming off this weekend. might give it a touch of paint while im there

the diesel feels like its surging while accelerating ?!?!? might replace the fuel filter and see if that does the fix or else i might be looking at something a bit more serious

and the other day i pressed cancel on the cruise control only for the car not to give control back to me, slowly stall and flash the check engine light a few times ??? turned it off and on again and it started

might have to invest some time in the garage this weekend
