New winch setup - nearly ready for wiring. Runva 11xp, albright solenoid, in cab isolating and momentary in/out, bullbar mounted momentary in/out isolated via in-cab only. Also knocked up a cover plate for the winch to keep a bit of UV off the rope and generally neaten it up.

Location of the solenoid bracket

Solenoid bracket - piece one

Solenoid bracket - assembly with solenoid mounted

Stainless IP67 rated in/out momentary switches

Winch top cover

Love those switches, and the Albright solenoid is a good bit of gear.

Love the cover idea, have been contemplating something similar myself. Though I will be making mine clip on/off so I can see the cable feeding on in case it bunches up.

Also love the switches. What are you going to do to remove the power when not needed?

Thats part the reason i didnt extend the front flange any lower - so i could still see it spooling on properly. I've ordered a slimline number plate, and I will mount it so the bottom holes on the slimline are where the top holes on my current number plate are (if that makes sense. So it will stiick up a small amount, but hide the gap where I will be able to see the rope on the drum.

I'm isolating from in-cab. I am still undecided whether I get a physical isolator next to the battery. What are your thoughts on that Seacomms?
