Default Warranty

Hi,
I have a jeep jk 2007 crd.
I have taken it for a service from where I bought it from.
But, I am not happy with their service department.
I don't trust the work that they do. As I have had a few problems.
I am wondering as the car is six years old is it worth me continueing to get it serviced there, as it will be passed its warranty wont it?
I would rather start doing it myself. At least I know it has been done. And it would be a help during any breakdowns, as I would know more.
Though the log book would not be stamped.

Any thoughts?

Agreed. Not in warranty so doesn't matter If you know what you are doing so may as well save some dollars and do it yourself or Find a reputable mechanic elsewhere

DIY or a reputable mechanic is the way to go IMHO. If you do it yourself you can keep a receipt for all parts you purchased i.e. oil, filters, etc. so that when you decide to sell it you can show to a prospective buyer that you've looked after it...
