Default Foxwing, has anyone fitted one to their XJ yet?

Hello fellow XJ drivers. Have any of you guys fitted a Foxwing to your XJ.
I really like the idea of them & a few of my friends have them on their Troopy's.
I can't see it working because of the height that the tailgate gets when it is open.

It would be good to hear of any experiences here.

Eddy

I have one and love it, I have modified the bracket and mounted it 50mm higher so the tailgate goes up a little higher. It will still rest on the arm though but it hasn't given me any problems yet and i've had it on 2yrs.
Also be wary of the one you are looking at as the listing is using Rhino Roof Racks pic but you are not buying a "foxwing" it will be a copy. I sell them and they cost me a heap more that that rrp $799.

Nice.
I am still tossing up about it. I am 6'2" & my tailgate goes really high.
If I raise the height of the wing then it sits really really high.

Work in progress

Eddy

Eddy if you still don't fit under it you should probably get more lift under your xj

Interesting price point (for non-genuine), not much more than other square awnings I've seen on eBay.
