Default New Rubicon in stock in Cairns

This is the Rubicon that was built for me, just arrived in Cairns, sitting in the dealer's showroom. Due to a mix up by the dealer and myself (thinking it came standard with leather), I have re-ordered the same car but with the leather option. Anyone looking for one with cloth seats should talk to the Cairns dealer to avoid the wait.

Great to hear that the dealer has been happy to accept that he was part to blame for the mix up with the leather seats, and has ordered a new one.

will you have to wait long?

They tell me it should arrive end July or early August, about 4 months from when we re ordered.

Looks great Marco. Will be awesome with leather trim, easier to clean after a run along Creb track

You sure you want leather in a rubicon, it scratches up really bad in the mud & looks 2nd hand very quick, great for a street vehicle, have it in mine & love it but for off road I'd stay with the standard seats & fit neoprene seat covers

I hear you, but I've had leather in 3 previous Jeeps (1 KJ, 2x Grands), didn't have any issues & leather always looked great, as long as you keep the seats clean. Anyway, my Rubi is on it's way, so too late

Hi Kim. That's the first JK in Australia in that colour (dune). Was a bit apprehensive ordering it as I hadn't seen it in the flesh. It might be a bit much on the Overland with colour coordinated top and fenders, but I think it looks great with the black fenders & black roof.

Sold my red TJ last November...can't wait to get into the JK Rubi.
