That doesn't look like winch rope

It looks more like a boundary rope and Its awfully slack, so its obviously out for instructional purposes only, if it is actually winch rope.

We here at Aus Jeep are so glad your a member Jono, always going out of your way to demonstrate correct procedures on using your winch correctly, i mean someone that actually gets bogged on purpose just so you can train the rest of us, we truely are blessed, now if you can just shoe me how not to break jeep parts my 4wd will be so much more enjoyable

It's nice to have people recognise the effort I go to, to educate you folk
As for your other issue
That's easy, use less right foot, steer away from the rocks, rutts, cliffs, trees, bog holes, listen to Jacinta and most importantly don't go on any of my trips as I am evil.
