on the fuel rail there is a small fitting that looks like an air up point for a tyre, off memory it is between injector 1 and 2, anyway, it is on the front half of the rail. stick a screw driver in it and see if fuel squirts out. it is under pressure so watch your eyes and dont look to close. If fuel doesn't come out you have a problem with either the relay or the pump. If it does, both are fine.
If it is the relay, in the fuse box under the bonnet on the passangers side there are a couple of big relays, grey in colour, they are all the same so swap the horn and fuel pump one over and see if this fixes the problem. if the horn works it isnt the relay.
Sadly from here it is a tank out and swap the pump job if your still getting no fuel and it wont start........ of coarse the last steps are assuming you failed fuel test one.
