The package has two discs. One is system software, supplied by Chrysler to Navteq for inclusion, and is only V2.102. I currently have 2.402 installed so have left that as is. But the Navteq Map Update disc is latest available and having spoken to Navteq, it includes much more geometric data, speed limit updates, new roads, better routing etc. Navteq also said they were now expecting to release updates much more frequently.

BUT . . .

This is still limited by Chryslers crappy mygig software which has had no major update for years.
For a $3000 box, it wont display the speed limit of the street you are on, safety cameras etc (this info Navteq says is in their mapping data but mygig wont use it).

Cant even display the current speed your traveling at using the GPS,
ESSENTIAL with the way spped cameras work these days and the difficulty in reading the Wrangler speedo with any accuracy.

VERY dissapointed with Chrysler, Navteq has been great.
The scary part is the Ferrari California comes with the same Mygig system. Could you imagine parting with A$500K for a car and getting that outdated system in it?

Why does this website show the latest software version to be 9.303 for a REP unit?

Every one seems to have V1.?? or 2.??

Default MyGig Map Updates

Good luck! I have asked many dealerships... They all say yeah no worries... Weeks later its sorry mate we can't get the updates... So yes they are out but Chrysler jeep dodge can't get them and won't supply them. So no you can't get it.

If you do let me know... Charge a buck for each copy and you will be bloody rich!!
