Default chasing short front axle...

Hi guys,
I am in urgent need of a 27spline short (passenger side) front axle, I am assuming it would be off an update mod as it has ABS... Reason I am unsure of exact model is because that is what is on the ZJ I just purchased and guess what??? First run out and I snapped the axle.... I txt Dan the last owner and he too was unsure of what mod XJ the axles are out of!
Any advise, help would be great..... Have found one in the states just trying to save $75 postage...
Cheers

Thanks bruggz, It broke at the uni and destroyed the stubb as well.... managed to get out from where we were in rear wheel drive with the locker on as to not destroy the front diff as it was just rebuilt apparently... once again lucky this ZJ has the XJ transfer case in it otherwise it would of been pulling the front drive shaft off... The joys of wheeling... Hopin someone can help me out with the lot mate but if not will give you a shout out...
Cheers

The ZJ axle is easy to identify from the XJ.
ZJ has a CV - ie a big rubber boot. Whereas the XJ/TJ have uni joint (visible).
The ABS tone ring is different between the XJ & ZJ so be careful of swapping.

We have a few bits we can help with in either situation.

Thanks Wooders...
I have an XJ, and 2 ZJ, thought I could just swap axle from the old ZJ to the new but the setup on it is uni joint, same as XJ... The ABS tone ring is shattered along with the uni and the end of the axle... May have to come for a drive and see what you think... I have sourced a few short axles local, just need to pick em up..
cheers
