Red face Having bad thoughts of buying another heep!

Hi Guys,

I used to hang round here a lot in 2003-2004 when I had a TJ, then 2008 when I had a JK.... Now thinking of the new Trailhawk for a bit of wheeling and luxury mixed into one!

I used to bug Wooders a lot and no doubt that won't change when i make the decision to buy the WK2, Sorry Wooders! :-P

Anyone got any advice on the new Grand Cherokee's? buy a 2013 cheaper or get a 2014?I am thinking of the Trailhawk as a mate has one and he raves about it's ability off road.

I was also considering the LandBruiser or the BM-TroubleYou X5... but the jeep keeps calling me back!

I went into Five Dock Jeep today, but nobody gave a rats ass I was there, walking through their small showroom... sitting in cars... Not even a hello!

I saw in the new 2014 as the door was unlocked and it was surprisingly roomy! I am 6'8'' tall, so I was surprised... I didn't try a 2013 as the doors were locked...

Cheers!

Mate a WK2 would be prefect for hauling those bike trailer about
Dealerships - nothing new there - I got the same reaction when I first wet to buy my TJ back in 96 (from another dealer).
Definately got the WK Trailhawk over those other wannbe softroaders - Only thing better would be the SRT
The darkside is calling you.

Hey Buddy!!

I have sold my dirtbikes, my trackbike, my Road bike and at the end of the year I will sell my Adventure bike as i need a couple of knee operations... funnily enough, injuries from bike accidents! so I want a nice car to ride around in... WK has enough leg room etc...

The SRT for offroad? wouldn't all the low plastics gets smashed? or are they easily removed for some 'Wooders lovin' to get bolted on for protection?

I currently have an SSV ute and I love the V8, but was keen on the Diesel for fuel economy... the SS has no economy... round town I get 36L/100km's. If I have a heavy foot, it would go up to 42L/100km's.... with a 63 litre tanks... it sucks!!! But I do love that motor!

Will look at the SRT8's...

Is there any reason not to buy the new 2014 models? I like the idea of the 8 speed gearbox over the old 5 speed....

looks like the SRT doesn't get the cool air suspension, that I like ever so much... mainly for wank factor... wank factor is good!

Trailhawk might be the way to go!

Does 'SalesGuy' still sell heeps somewhere? he was always good to deal with... bought my JK off him...

SRT is on-road only but damn sweet - don't think it has low range (or ground clearance).

As a fellow 6'8" I can tell you they are the best thing going in a 4x4 for room.

The front grill on the 2014 is the only thing that would stop me buying it. Not a fan personally, looks too much like a compass. I think it also looses the flipper glass rear window. But you get 8 speed, digital dash, 8" touchscreen and more.

Hi Matt,

When I was at the dealer today, the MY14's looked very like the 2013's... grills vertually the same... Just slightly different lights and lower bumpers

The '2014 marketed ugly thing' has not come out yet from what I can see... If that were the 2014 that was here now, I'd be scrambling to buy the 2013!!

Cheers!
