I went up to Mt Selma about 2 weeks ago and there was evidence of snow. I reckon you would need approx. 20cm in the treed areas to get 5-10 on the trail. Check
http://mountbawbaw.com.au/ for a nearby snow report.
Check the snow cams of the village area and roads if they have snow you may have snow on nearby Selma and Skene. Snow on the roads to BAW BAW is a good indication of potential snow at lower altitude higher temp mountains in the region. If they are fitting chains to 4x4 at BAW BAW then nearby mountains should also have good challenging snow cover. At a guess I would say this weekend should have melting snow on Selma.
Keep in mind that Selma will likely be several degrees warmer than BAW BAW so expect very muddy trails.
