Default Transmission Filter Change Question 06 wh 5.7
Hi guys. I have done a lot of reading but haven't found what I am looking for.

All the info online mentions to fit the seal to the pump before installing the filter http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/5442/23qb8.jpg

The filter (flat,after market) I have has the o ring in it, and I rang jeep and priced theirs which also come with the o ring and they said they don't have/need the separate seal.

So installing the new filter if I remove the original, will there be one of those seals and if so do I remove it and ditch it and just replace the filter with o ring....or do I reuse/replace that seal??

Its all good. Have it sorted/figured out.

Now gonna spend the day and do transmission,transfer and diffs..
