mate that's not to good
those that know me know what I put here is true
they say that separation is like the death of a loved one
13 years ago my wife who was 33at the time had a cerebral hemorrhage
and didn't pull through
like you this happened out of the blue
after at time of sole searching I came to the thinking that life is but a journey as if walking across a flat plain the horizon is your future and one step at a time you progress to the future
the past is behind you
today you have reached a fork in the path you take
I say look to the future it will turn out ok.
I did this and it got me though the bad times I have remarried and have a beautiful little girl and my life is great
finally remember this if you don't ask you'll never know
its a great way to meet new people

Far from it. In this day and age, it is good to see that we as Men are prepared to stand up and show our support for each other. Hopefully long gone are the days that we had to tough it out on our own. Does that make us weak, no, it shows that we have evolved.

As you can see Dan, you are not alone. Others have been here, myself included. Lean on your friends, family, us. They will understand. When the time is right you will stand again unsupported and be better for it.

Seek professional help. Even if it doesn't help you with this relationship, it will help with others. It is amazing how talking about it you will answer your own questions.
All the best.
Joe.

Sorry to hear about the hard times mate.
One quick thought - the fact that she's said anything does that mean she might be saying "Do something to keep me" or just "it's over don't bother"??
I suppose it depends on how YOU feel about her too.
But remember there is ALWAYS tomorrow and always someone that has it worse.
Lastly no matter how bad it might feel at the time NEVER do something stupid because it WILL hurt everyone else close to you.
Take tomorrow off & go wheeling or fishing.....

Good advice in this thread. Good to see.

As you can read, heaps of us have been exactly where you are, some more so, some less so, but we know what it's like mate. See the light at the end of the tunnel, it will come. Ride the wave out.

I'm second time around, and this missus is the ducks guts for me. Never ever did I think it would work out so after my last split. No way. It awesome now. So much better.

We can't tell exactly what's going to happen in here with you two, but if you do indeed end up apart for good, just remember this: A one sided relationship is total shit and a total waste of time no matter how good you make her out to be buddy.

If you really did love her, and she doesnt love you, she is the one that lost out by walking. Find someone that loves you just as much. But leave it for a while, the best ones fall in your lap.
