Thanks Pauljp,

Are you happy with them, are they good in the wet, do the 285's rub in any situation and do you hear them in normal driving? I know you said they were slightly noisier than the Kumhos, I currently still have the Kumhos and don't hear them at all.

Oh and one more (sorry) do you know if the 2011 is the same as the 2012 Overland i.e. just wondering if the 285's will be too wide?

Thanks in advance to you or anyone else who responds.

Cheers, Brett

Hi Brett,
I would have to say that yes I am happy with them. I would get another pair when these wear out. They do have road noise and you will hear the difference to the Khumos. They only just fit the front with about 15mm to spare. I have checked numberous times and there is no signs of rubbing. Sorry, can't help you with the tyre size for the 2012 model. If you have other questions please ask!

Cheers, Brett
Km warranty might be related to tread depth. They don't look as deep as A/T's and things in smaller diameters. Can't find a tread depth to compare.

I had Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/50R 20s fitted today to replace stock Kumhos in Ballarat. I went for a good drive on the highway, went and found some mud and generally tried to get them to slide out on the wet road. Easily as good as the Kuhmos were on the road, with only a slight hum at speed, but that may have been because i was listening for it. The higher tire pressures seem to give a solid ride on the road and they ran very straight. In the mud were ok for a A/T and i'd imagine with the pressure down abit they would be even better. Off to the snow this weekend so will see how they go there. Very happy with them so far. Had a Mickey Thompson Baja STZ 275/55R 20 fitted on Thursday, in the lowered mode it would scrape the front and rear mud protector when a full turning circle, and whilst the guy at the shop said its fine, the top of the tire had about 8mm gap to the strut bolt. Abit to close for my liking plus would not get the snow chains on.

Terra Grapplers look good so far make it look mean
