Default AMEP.... now have a Senate Seat

Wow...... looks like the Australian Motor Enthusiast Party ( AMEP ) now has a Victorian Senate Seat, finally proof that the motoring community isn't to be ignored and treated as second class citizens.

A VERY interesting development that can only be positive for the 4WD community.

Probably a reaction to Victoria's anti hoon laws & Parks crack downs on 4WD use in parks. Will be interesting to see what they do now. It provides a good leg up for them having a go at an upper house seat in the Vic state election next year. Hopefully they will support the concept of opening up the high country to all. Better to have them than another green.

Yes... another dimension to Victorian politics.

But even if they don't get a seat this must make the other parties take note that there are votes to be gained or LOST by pissing off the motoring community.

What about the Outdoor Recreational Party / Stop the Greens the dedicated 4WD Party. Any news?
