To Zander and Alpha Charlie echo...

The unit I purchased is a RB2 model which is a non nav unit. I don't have the need for a nav unit nor could I justify the extra $$$ for it. I can have my phone blue tooth to the headunit via the u connect module and give me directions through the stereo while streaming my music.. Add a windscreen mount for the phone and I got nav.

As for the camera. I purchased thee gebuine jeep one. Part number is AUSJKRECAMKIT

Is has full directions and is pretty much plug and play setup. The only things that aren't is jeep have to activate it in the headunit and the power supply has to be tapped into an ignition source.

I have attached a pic of the plug for the rear of the headunit as I think this could be done by activating the headunit the purchasing a cheap camera and cable and running it into the back of the headunit. It could probably be done for under $100 including jeep activating it and the camera itself.

White was video signal
Black was video return
Shield was the shield for the camera cable

To be honest I think majority of police would not know rhe difference. Especially with the proper mount. If you have to go over the pits or have an over zealous annual inspection you might get picked up on it.

Fitted up the PureJeep Evap Cannister relocation/skid plate.

Damn that was a bitch. The instructions missed out a section about spacing the handbrake lines down. I'm also not confident it has allowed enough play for the e-locker cables to droop, so will have to remove and re-run that cable at some point.

Next will be replacing the diff breathers with longer ones, and think the stock diff hats need replacing and the axle housing needing a blast and spray.
