Spot on, they are absolutely within their rights. At the end of the day, if the dealership gets knocked back on the warranty claim then it's going to come out of their pocket. The warranty info in the service book/manual is really clear, so not much of an argument to be had really, unless of course the lift and tyres came with the vehicle...
