Got my car back over the weekend. Still dented and wounded. 4 weeks for parts but at least I have it and it's running. So, we are in. All 3 of us.

Show of hands to see who is going from the Gold Coast area? Planning on leaving around 7:30-8:00 to head up. Whoever would like to meet up and travel together let me know to organise a central meeting point.

It's your pride thats dented Greg. Good to see you getting out. The JKU has scars with a story to tell.

My pride is a little dented at the moment also. Cracked my hard top on the weekend doing a pirouette into a bank.

Pride was VERY dented indeed. I didn't get home until 9:30 that night. Wife was talking to me the next day when she settled down.

Still looking at a couple of possible issues with the motor but everyone (Jeep dealership service centres) reckon it's nothing. Insurance company just being cautious but they have approved all the repairs . 4 weeks for replacement panels!!! I was trying to get it to Stu to be fixed but that's not going to happen.

My tip to everyone from this situation is:
A) Make sure your mods are covered by your insurance and not just mentioned
B) See where your insurer stands on off-roading and look at the details (Does it cover a 4wd or adventure park I was lucky I wasn't in a 4wd park

Glad your car wasn't to badly damaged and no one hurt!! Might catch you at Stu's Bribie day???
