Interesting mounting point. Why didn't you wrap it around the cross member and still bolt through from the front? Would have offered more protection for that cross member with no real loss in clearance/approach angle. Just saying.

Due to the 1/4 turn knobs mounting on the bottom we choose this method as the full 90 deg fold is much stronger than patches removed to clear the 1/4 knobs
