Default CJ7 Power steering - hoses

Gents, I realise its been discussed previously, but I'm converting my old CJ7 to power steering. I've used a TJ Cherokee steering box and changed the steering shaft and uni joints to a Borgeson version which lines up well. My current issue is the hoses. I've measured the rough distances required, but ideally would like some old hoses to be new versions to be based on. I'm also interested in how the hoses are supported and how they are run. I imagine they go below and across the front cross member.

Happy to pay money for worn out hoses if you have any.

Thanks

Scott

Default Installation

I went and got hoses made up based on rough measurements. I might be hitting a problem though as the room between the fitting locations on the steering box for the pressure line and the front cross member is almost non-existent. ENZED did the hoses, but supplied adaptors to convert to standard hydraulic fittings. The total height is likely to be an issue. Radiation needs to come out to check....

Im running a ford v8 in mine so my hoses would be different. They run in front of the underside of the radiator alongside the front cross-member from the lhs to the rhs.
Hopefully this might help a little.
