Don't worry. I realize that.

It's about half that plus freight.

He's had them up twice and still not selling so I've offered less than the starting price if he wants to sell them.

We run them on our JK with 37x12.5 tyres and trail mods they just fit under the flares. If you see our pics they look wider because we also run 1.5" spacers which puts them borderline outside. I wouldn't worry about damaging the outer ring because it's just like any other wheel you take into the bush. We've rubbed ours on plenty of big rocks and they're fine. A can of matt black fixes most blemishes
Recently I needed a replacement part for mine and it was no dramas. Got them within a week. Be careful about the part designation because it defines what tyre you can run. We have BFG's now and can run most other brands on this part number. All it means is the thickness of the internal rubber band that locks the bead. Similar to the staun internal locks. So worst case you could always order a new band.
Be under no illusion, these are a very tough wheel as they should be. Only down side is they are quite heavy, but remember they are essentially a split rim alloy.
Cheers
George.

You don't know Furkew, like I know Furkew ( a new song ? ) or fixed his "technical oversights".

Complete carnage is not only possible, its entirely likely. Wheel hard or go home

C'mon MM. that's not fair. 😉

I'm just unlucky, anyway, the last 2 times I have been out I didn't need a flatbed to come home and I had complete steering ability all the way home.

You do know that going to the end of your driveway doesn't count as a trip... ?

Still its possible your run of "bad luck" is over or you've stopped running with the "stand back and watch this" crowd.... no names mentioned

The last major carnage (that you guys fixed again) was caused when I actually took the chicken track on the last track of the day and hit a tree stump just to the side of the track.

Are you talking about the guy who's name starts with Jon and ends in no?
