brake line fault was actually not on my jeep but on a hilux, but could happen to any car.
I think I pulled the whole hose off and blew through it by mouth, there should be little restriction, like blowing through a straw. But the hilux hoses I could't blow through at all. I then cut them open and sure enough rubber had perished.
I'd just ebay the hoses an get from the states if you do find them faulty.

Check you pedal freeplay. If there's no freeplay the return port in master cylinder may not be opening fully causing pressure to stay in lines. Also don't go overboard when greasing slide pins. Too much grease and it will build up behind pin and push caliper back causing brake drag.

Yeah was gunna mention this , Jeep used phenolic (plastic) caliper pistons. These pistons have been known to swell up and stick in the caliper causing brake drag.
Your problem is almost certainly the sliding pins or the pistons.

All good points so far. I had a small drag on one side once after installing new pads, but it self clearanced after a week. My old Paj had sticky caliper as well but that was due to some corrosion under the rubber seal - pulled the caliper out, cleaned off the corrosion with a small grinding wheel on a Dremel, reinstalled all the rubbers and good to go.
