Default Radio clock resetting every ignition off

Every time I turn ignition off the clock on the radio resets to 12.00.

If I opened the door straight after I'll get up to 5 warning chimes.

Any ideas? JKU 2010
Thanks, Rob

Any other accessories to consider like AEV Procal used? Mine resets every time I change the tpms warning pressure but no othw times. When you say you open the door - as in pull up, engine off, open door to get out then it chimes? Are the keys out of the ignition when it chimes?

Very strange I must say!

Sent from a tiny keyboard with fat fingers, apologies for my spelling. .

Do interior lights work? Sounds like the transit fuse is removed or something has killed your memory power.

Interior lights still work. Chimes happen without the keys in as I exit jeep (5 if I leave immediately, or less down to 0 if I'm slower).

No electronics added. Very odd and frustrating! Hopefully someone has an idea as I'm scratching my head.

First thing I'd try is disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes.

The computers can get 'confused' & a hard reset is occasionally required. to clear the software glitch, just the same as with any desktop computer.

If it still does it, my next suspect would be a fuse or bad connection to the permanent power for the radio.
