Got the RB2 and Uconnect all up and running and it's better than I had expected. I knew it could play DVDs, store music, etc, but didn't know I'd get Bluetooth audio streaming thrown i too!
My iPod sits in the bottom of the centre bin streaming tunes that can be selected via the steering wheel controls or touch screen. I can then change to the iPhone and stream internet radio or podcasts....which is already helping to keep me more awake on the long hours I spend on the road. Really pumped and glad I persisted. Next step is to to get the UCI - iPod cable as not only will that keep it charged it will show album & song info on the screen. Then the next step after that will be lockpick, then reverse camera, then front & side cameras....and then??? Oh, Btw I have listed some Mygigs for sale in the market section.

Default mygig uconnect RB2
Just plugged it in and entered a code I got from a dealer. They fill out a request to Chrysler with your VIN and the radio serial number, got the code on the following day. The RB2 I have was from Europe and came up with a Dodge logo when I first installed it to check if it powered up ok. When put in again, this time it displayed the Jeep logo instead. Entered the code and ready to go. Shouldn't need the code again unless radio is removed from vehicle. Did you see the Mygig I spotted last week? That would be ideal although its a different model (RHP) with both nav and Uconnect.

The one I got from the USA was plug in and didnt need a code. Just plugged in a bingo
Plugged uconnect into it and bluetooth works

I asked as I have the MyGig nav in my 2014 JKU Rubicon but I have a brand new RB2 sitting next to me as I type this.

Funny thing is ther RB2 was fitted to a lot of WK Grand Cherokee's as standard and dealer upgraded to the MyGig nav units.

They're both running the high speed canbus and only require a change in the mount for it to fit into JK's.

Yep high speed will work a treat and would be great upgrade for someone's JK.
