Hi WilsonJeep any progress? From my issues, the engine was running then all the warnings start flashing, chiming etc and it turned out to be a dead battery cell. Bit more on battery issues here: http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...d.php?t=119817

Jeep replaced the alternator and no more issues, think the issues were from low battery voltage. Battery not charging.

Any one else with similar issues? It's really taken the joy out of his new car.
Hi All,

Sorry to did up an old thread but I had this exact same issue last Wednesday. 2013 Overland diesel.

Service Air Suspension warning followed by battery light, then "blind spot monitoring unavailable", then "FCW unavailable" and then the revs wouldn't drop below ~1500 RPM even when stationary and in gear.

I drove it for maybe 3 minutes after the first warning came on until I got to where I was going then turned the car off. The car wouldn't start again so I called Jeep Assist. And hour and a half later the Allianz guy came out and the car decided to start by itself so the guy just left and said to get it checked out. As soon as he drives off though the car starts throwing the same warnings and goes dead again.

So I call Jeep Assist again and after another hour the next Allianz guy comes out. He was much more helpful and actually did all his tests (while he was doing these the windscreen wipers where going off by themselves) and concludes that the battery isn't getting any charge at all, either from a dodgey alternator or a computer issue.

So this was on a Wednesday night, car got towed to the dealer Thursday morning. I called them Thursday afternoon and they said they'll look at it tomorrow. Called them Friday morning and was told they would call me back. Called again at 3pm, was on hold for 20 minutes until they said they would have to call me back. Call them at 5.30pm (their website says service department open until 6pm) and they're closed.

So now it's Monday (public holiday in WA) and I'm at work having a look on the forums to see if this is a common issue. It doesn't seem that common, maybe because all the search results on jeepgarage are about the 2014 GC's!

Anyway, sorry for the long post but I had to vent somewhere. I'll post the outcome once they get around to looking at the car.
