Yerr I was a bit concerned when I bought going by the new label until I read on. I don't reckon Castrol make the old DX3 anymore or the name has changed as I couldn't find it on the shelf, which threw me a bit. I thought it might have been like the Transmax M which I am fairly certain is not compatible.

transmax z is fully synthetic , i did not think dextron 3 was ?
That could explain why there was no DX 3 labelled gear on the shelf and not even a spot for it. I wonder if they have discontinued the old DX 3 and now make the Transmax Z.

They have been making Transmax z for years Ant ,that is all i have used in mine for about 5 years i actually thought i had f d up by using it at one stage it had been so long since i had read the data sheet on it i had forgotten.
