I have spent the last 2 hrs trying to find a thread about servicing a crd auto trany , saw one on here a while back but can't find it now , was hoping someone could point me in the right direction .

Take it to a shop for adjustment, A service isn't just "Change the fluid and change filter"
Unlike a manual box there is the need for adjustments and other things to check while the pan is off. The cost of a new auto far out weights the money saved doing it yourself, It is one of the only things I am happy to pay a workshop to do on a car.
Thanks mate , have it booked in for a service on Thursday , the thread I saw said the tranny had 2 filters & the place doing the service are saying it only has one , so I just thought l would check before l drop it off .

But do you have oil build up around the pan? Every single Auto I have worked has had oil around the pan and had leaks, be sure this is fixed if you have this problem as well
