Default 2013 JKU Tail light wiring for trailer plug.

So after looking on here and US sites I could not find anything to help me wire in my trailer plug.

Hopefully this will help somebody else out having the same issue..

Behind the left tail light you will have the following coloured wires.

Green/white stripe = Brake light
White/orange = Tail light
Black = Earth/ground
White/Grey = Reverse
White/green. = L/H indicator

Behind the right side you will find,

White/yellow. = Brake lights
White/purple. = Tail lights
Black. = Earth/ground
White/grey. = Reverse
Black/red. = R/H indicator.

Pictures when I am not on my iPad..

I went and did this today,
How did you go joining in the connections?

One of my sides is pretty neat and tidy... the other not so much, was running out of light and patience :P

I did most of the connections in the left hand side, easier to get to. Just hooked up the right indicator and took the one wire across to the plug.
Everything is hidden behind the number plate when the drawbar is off.

Its pretty self evident when you pull the tail light off... you can see what wires go to the individual bulbs and follow them back to the connector very easily.

The stop / tail needs a tiny bit more work as it 50/50 guess on which filament is which, so leave these as temporary connections, try them and swap if necessary.

I used a test light into the tail light plug, had the boss turn on lights and push brake pedal. No guessing that way.
How do I post the pictures?
