Yup, pretty good clearance. At full lock they only just rub on the lower control arms, and just off lock they clip the rear of the wheel arch. A little trim here and all will be good. Just got to jack it up over the weekend and look at where/if it rubs under flex.

Looking at your pic it appears you have after market arms which will result in less rubbing then stock arms which in turn results in a better turning circle...

Have noticed some more scary cracking noises from the front end... hoping its just something loose and not another cracked frame at the steering box... Already had it fixed twice! (last time welded by a body shop)

Also need to work out these brakes, the new cables seem correct but I'm thinking i havent adjusted the shoes correctly - hopefully the weather is nice tomorrow morning so I can whip the drums off again and have a fiddle.

I did the rust repair on my Jeep today, the only bit of rust in the whole car!

Found the rust


Mark It Out


Cut It out


Replaced with galvanized steel, rivets and self tapping screws. High Temp silicone was used to make sure of no leaks then finished in anti rust paint JOB DONE
