Volkswagen does exactly the same thing. It must be just another way for them to make money and deny warranty claims. They will drag out the usual Designed for extreme Australian conditions re weather and fuel quality etc etc.

Australian conditions?
I remember years ago when 3 factory engineers from a mining equipment manufacturer was visiting.
When asked why they don't manufacture their shovels to suit Australian conditions, this was the answer.
(In strong German accent) "What is this Australian conditions. You know? Our biggest customer is the Middle East. It is very hot and a terrible place. Tell me again, what is this Australian conditions?"
Then he went on to say......."you know, we have been to many places in the world and one thing I can tell you, one bloody hole in the ground is very much like another bloody hole in the ground. So tell me again. What is this Australian conditions?
😨😨😨?

O/haul fill is 13.33 l and service fill is 4.73 l - if the valve body is dropped out and TC is filled from dry they take a tad more.
Don't forget if you have an additional cooler fitted to allow for that too. Can find the std book service hours (job time) if you need it.
By the way I've asked orto about the 545rfe's and they admit to know little about them but they were straigth up with their answer but my questions were to do with their ability to help mod the tranny locally.

exactly right! America has more extreme season temperature variations than does Australia.

It's only in the morning when I take off from my house to approach the main road (20m) to stop and sitting there for 5 -10 seconds. when I push the accelerator to turn into the road, the car doesn't take off immidiatly, only after a second or two.

what is your thought on this? the transmission does not loose any fluid and the dipstick shows correct level of fluid. I will try to top up a bit, to see if it does make any difference.

Alternatevly I will buy the MOPAR ATF+4, don't know if I should flush the box again and replace filter, or if I can use a pump to suck out the fluid and replace it with the MOPAR one. I know that mixing fluids is not ideal but Nulon and Mopar suppose to be compatibel.
Mine has done that intermittently for the last 140,000 ks using MOPAR ATF+4, its the transmission and tcm more likely. We dont think that chrysler actually develops its own fluids do we?
