Mate I hope it all gets sorted out for you. Yep 2 - 3 weeks at best sounds pretty much right and you will find just about every make dealer will say that. I had a Patrol that had a suspension sag issue (coils) in 2000 that needed to be righted and it took a good 3 - 4 weeks back then to get them for me from Nissan because they had to come from Japan. I feel your pain mate and good luck. Enjoy the Far North, Cairns is my home town.

What's the part worth? Buy it yourself from overseas and express ship it to somewhere you are driving past. Sucks that you might pay for it yourself but it means you can continue on your trip. Feel sorry for the bs you are getting put through

Ok, that sounds right, there was an actual problem. And this is the issue with electronic driving aids, if a sensor goes you are done.

Good luck with getting it fixed, pity it chose such a bad time to die. I guess it pays to do some off road testing and get your service tech to check for errors afterwards, before going on a big trip.....
