I suspect that very few Americans actually fit snorkels. They ruin the look of the Mall Cruiser...

Think they are more into pimping their rides more than using them what they are designed for

My 2 cents, it will come down to personal choice v availabilty of alternate maybe CRDSTU option.
I respect that snorkels are a functional accessory, but the top inlet seems to sit out and above the roof line.
Is there any other side or front on pics? Maybe I'm just looking at it from the wrong angle.

Thnx, mind you I can't be too critical, afterall Dave from Uneek4x4 used my WK2 for his prototype winchbar and I'm still rapt in it while most other customers like the newer style, so the airflow one probably suits mine.

Too true Numb Thumbs like 22" rims on a 4x4 so that says something..But they do love their CBs though...Maybe it's to do with the Daimler/Mercedes influence on the WK2 design as well...But when companies like Airflow do come good with a snorkel they do very well in the US (going on what Michael told me when we're in discussion about the Commander snorkel)..Wonder how many here in Aussie actually fit snorkels to Jeeps??....Not sure I like the Airflow look in this case though..Saw CDRSTU's prototype and I lean that way..I've emailed Stu to ask when.

PS: As for the difficulty of doing a snorkel this is what Michael told told me when in early development so hats off to Airflow for at least getting one to market:

We have been working on the Grand Cherokee for some time now.
It has structural issues that we have not fully resolved yet.
It is the pluming to the air box that is the problem.
It will still be some time until we have this one working properly.
We could make it work with a limited air air supply as has other companies with other Jeep models.
Performance comes first with us.
We are committed to get a resolution to this.
As with Jeep they just keep making harder

I guess I'd be hesitant to go through deep water even with a snorkel, so much electronics to be ruined. If I was doing a long trip on lots of dry, dusty dirt roads I might consider one....
