-general do's and don'ts?
Ok, so back to the original OP:
No, you won't have to bother about sharks or crocs (unless they op to the casinos) ..... the chances of being taken are greater then a lightning strike.
Offer anything to anyone that is not Aussie dollars (even travellers cheques) and you have a problem ......
Best to do the usual thing when travelling and use Visa/Mastercard .. and best not to use a debit card without a limit!!! .(yes, I have been scammed) as these work in all ATMs.
Beer and grog .. if they are over 18 "who cares" is the policy.
Vacs ... mmmm ... we are fairly addictive, but otherwise our quarantinie policy is fairly good so nothing worth reporting although beware at some bars!!!!! .. who knows what you may end up with!!!
Don'ts .. get noticed (ie .. dont get too pissed and fall over .. altho I have seen some walked pased most times .. and dont drive over the limit with substances present...
I do believe we are one of the more "forgiving" countries .. so relax and enjoy the lifestyle or is it "do the right thing".
Apologies to those who the fun police enjoy looking for.

If they miss home

Austrian Schnitzel House. 20 minutes from City of Sydney. Bus/ Taxi:Very Expensive/Car(rental)

Lowenbrau Keller In the city by The Rocks

Schwarzwald Rest about an hour or so by Car or train.

Numerous german restaurants, biers, wines, bratwurst, wienerwurst, thuringers and such in Adelaide.

Let us know when they are here. If the Jeeps fixed, we can take them out wheeling.

Have a youtube search for "Andrew Ucles" videos. Watch them all, dont forget to take notes. The more you learn before coming here the better your chances of survival.

Travel insurance is a good idea, especially one that covers transportation costs of bodies (if found) back home for funerals. Watch "Wolf Creek" as well. Its one of the better documentaries to prepare for an adventure.

Also this might help.
