Just had a look at the price of a Trailhawk. Bloody hell! I'd rather get a GC Laredo with the bits than pay over $55k for a KL. I like the air suspension etc of the GC plus the size.

Took the KL for a test-drive and I can understand the attraction it will have on those rav4,x-trail,forester-type buyers who want to feel as if they could "go anywhere".

It's dramatically different and i feel it's targeted at a different market. I was offered the trailhawk for $52k driveaway but i said no thanks i'm keeping my kk. And i agree, for that money i'd go for the GC.

And with the different target market, i do wonder how well (or poor) the trailhawk will sell?

Curious to see if there will be a KL forum section here..

Had another look today at the Camping Expo at the Gold Coast Turf club today. Jeep had a Longitude model next to a GC. Much prefer the KK. Toyota had some Tundras on display. Reckon I could park the KK on the back of one of those!
Lots of nice trailers and caravans. Also had first real look at an Isuzu and the new Patrol. That's big inside! Must be great in supermarket car parks!
