Hey guys, our brackets suit wk2 grands 2011-2013 standard bumper and Uneek bull bar. Not ARB or ECB bars

If you want some serious light these Aurora 40W are great

Dave do you know if these can be used in place of the standard fog lights and wired to the high beams? Any issues leaving the fog light wiring disconnected that you know of?

YOu can either use existing wiring and switch on the indicator stock or run a complete new wiring harness off the high beam. We found no dramas with the fog lights unplugged. So feel free to unplug the factory fogs and wiring new ones into the high beams.

Easiest thing to do is run off existing wiring but this is an extra operation to turn off when other cars are coming. I suggest running a new wiring loom (included with Aurora lights)

Thanks for the info Dave.
Would you recommend the aurora lights over the rigid duallys?

Now just need to get in touch with Vic & Sue at SBR to order the bar (When I get home next week)

Both are very good and I'd be happy with both. The Aurora are Ridgid copies made in China but are actually brighter than Rigid (made in America)

I'd sell rigid if I was able, but Snake racing has them pretty wrapped up and are not easy to deal with. I run Aurora on my car and love them.

Crappy photos, but you get the gist. No dramas leaving fog wiring undone.
Go with spot beam; spread is useless with the depth of the lights in the bar.
I have Rigid lights which I picked up cheap second hand, mounted with the Uneek brackets. Seem to work well, I just need to adjust the aim. I think I'll need to mount it upside down to get the angle right.

I used the wireless spotlight harness from Uneek as well. It sort of works, but every time you dip your lights and go back to high beam again you have to push the button to turn the spotlights on again. A bit of a pain...
