I have just managed to break the end out of my WJ 2003 HO 4.7 power steering pump after overhauling it with an o-ring & bearing kit
All I need to fix my pump is another cylinder end cap that sits under the round steel clip in the end of the Saginaw TC pump body.
Anyone got any parts of a power steering pump for a 2003 WJ V8?

Thanks for the heads up tassiecj6, had to hit my rebuilt pump just one more time to make sure the pump had seated against the round clip! grrr not happy with my butchering skills again, oh well.

Got a whole good used 4.7 pump assembly for $120. Got to be happy with that. Still only need another end cap to make up another good pump for a spare. Back on the road for now, thanks CJ6.

The "Used" WJ power steering pump is now fitted,ended up paying $100 Had the usual amount of fun with the high pressure hose. That bottom fitting into the alloy manifold is a real pr*ck.
I still have a Saginaw type 2 rebuilt pump with just the end cap broken which houses the needle roller bearing so if any one has a dead pump for parts I am still interested. Do XJ's run the same Saginaw pump just with different mounting?
