Hi that teraflex lift works quite well & is good value for money. I ran it with Bilstein shocks without a problem a few years back, I don't know what the TF shocks are like.

I ran 16" steel rims with 5" backspace with the tyre size you are after - no dramas. That backspace & tyre size will keep within your stock flares too.

The only thing you might want to consider later is decent adjustable front lower control arms to readjust your caster. Will improve handling a lot, but not essential

Won't find a lot of love for the TJM bar round here. I have one of the first handful made and love it. It's a good SOLID bar which serves its purpose and an XD9000 can be tucked away nicely.

Why no love for the tjm bar?

Just trying to figure out if I can run the 33s without changing the offset out of the legal guidelines on 16 steels rims....

just getting a price on teraflex and aev lift kits.

Thanks

I have the stock 17's with the Tera lift kit and haven't had any issues boofla, my tip would be to contact the dealer you are buying it off and ask them. I was also told that the Tera and AEV kits are not much chop with the CRD's so it would definitely pay to double check that.

I can't speak for the Tera lift but the AEV I've got a bit of insight into. I've got the 3.5" AEV lift in the CRD and it's still as good as the day I put it in.
AEV engineer their lifts to go in their own spec vehicles which usually includes a Hemi swap. The Hemi is much heavier than the petrol engine and only fractionally lighter than the CRD. I'll also mention that I had 110 kg of winch and bullbar hanging on the nose and the JK before the lift went in and the JK is still at the same height 4 years later.

Most seem to think the TJM bar looks fugly. Not I.
I run Procomp 98 16x8 with 4.25" BS and 285/75/16 Mickey T MTZ's. Sidewall is visible past the flares and tread is covered. Haven't had any dramas with the Police (Vic). No problem with clearances with 2.5" lift. LCA's are necessary for castor correction. Drop brackets or adjustable track bars required to re-centre the diffs.
