Smile New to jeeps..a Few Questions?

Hi guys only new to Jeeps..

Just wondering what are XJ Cherokee's and TJ wranglers like off road compared to say a 80 series or GQ/GU patrol?

Flex, gearing, center of gravity, angles, approach, departure, ramp over ect

Also what are parts like for prices..I mean off road gear??

Is this thread for real?

I thought "80 series" was for the age of their drivers.
GQ = Far Q, not even good for grey army.
Flex you say? I didnt know the Jap stuff knew what that was!
If you want something to drop the kids at school, go Cruzzer or Patrol. They are just ok for towing on blacktop.
If you want something that rolls & has a turning circle like a B double, get a Hylux. If you want a real 4WD, get a jeep. None of this drive shafts in the front with CV joints stuff.
Parts are similar price wise, at least with a jeep you can purchase parts easy in the US & bring them home.
Getting hard to find a good XJ as people have been using them so much off road.
Jeeps are much smaller than the ones you mention. A jeep has the grunt of a Patrol & the body size of a Xtrail.

This video from 23 minutes you'll see a couple a Jap 4x4s going up a hill followed by a JK. A good demonstration how flexible suspension makes a huge difference off road.
