I'm aware of the "wear and tear" issue getting in and out.....I don't like to spin and slide out as it puts a load acros the base side bolster.
I ease my considerable butt across the seat and put my right leg out on the ground then stand up off the seat so I don't drag myself over it.
I feel your pain, I'd hate to wear a hole in my leather seats, they were one of the things I really liked when I chose my car.

If you can reach the ground from your seat then your jeep isn't high enough! Lol

Haha dammit, u know wen u buy something then start reading about the issues, just learnt this model has leaking batteries, now this haha! Cheers for the heads up, will sit down 'gently' 😜
