Still havent worked this noise out yet, im 99% sure its coming from the steering box itself.

Its just a small click when you swing the steering wheel left to right.
Jacked the car up again today and the noise dissapears!

Anyone have any other ideas, dont wanna know what another box is going to cost!

I should also ask are pre update and update the same? Just in case i have to source another one

I had the same problem and it was the upper joint on the panhard rod only clicked under load. Everytime I tried to find it jacked up it disappeared. Get a friend to turn the wheel and make it click while you have a look underneath.

next time you are under the jeep stick a screwdriver handle to your ear & the metal blade to the steering box, cheap stethoscope, might help track down the noise. over the years has been a very helpful method for finding nasty noises
in cars.
