Mine shows boost in the standard parameters, didn't need an xgauge code to read it...buggar.

Always worth checking, as it may be the map sensor "saying" it's overboosting and you have a sensor problem not a turbo one!!

All day at the dealership and still no idea what's causing it. They said they cleared the fault and then couldn't replicate it, I drop sedately 700 mete and took off from the lights and instant limp mode. Beats me but back again tomorrow

So figured out the MAP on the scangauge tonight, Engine light still on but no longer in limp after turning off and leaving it 15 minutes. at idle 13.9 (798 rpm) taking off from lights 30.5 (2050 rpm). Doesn't sound right to me?

The difference between theory and practice is.. In theory there is no difference.

Definitely too high, now is that the actual manifold pressure or is the MAP sensor dirty or faulty. Can you hook up a pressure gauge to the manifold to confirm reading or anyone with a CRD close by that wouldn't mind you swapping the sensor for a minute to check.
If these come up fine then I guess it IS either turbo control ring siezed or control motor not operational.
Matt.

I had the same problem, it's the map sensor.

Mine happened after I washed the engine bay,, the second had no drive revs to 3000rpm and nothing after that.

After had it replaced silicones the gaps where the wires enter in the unit and never had an issue after that but went and bought a spare which I keep in the glovebox just incase.
