Bit of work to clean but does the job well.
Havent had any problems since the pre update.

Havent tested it yet with the current configuration though. I mainly bought it for better water proofing.
Performance wise... wouldn't have a clue lol.

Thanks.
I shoulda worded my question better...
I'm not worried that much performance wise, mainly how well it filters. I've heard and read a LOT of 'opinions' but you don't get a lot of first hand knowledge.

I guess what I'm getting at is, I'm wanting to go a similar route, for dual batteries. Don't mind a bit of extra time for servicing, but I don't want to down-grade the filtering capacity.

cheers

It filters quite nicely. Ive had chunks on dirt sand even oil get trapped fairly well. only 12 screws, a wash with the hose *or gerni* and she is clean once again.

k & n pod filter there with the snorkel and new washer bottles.
or extra battery

Well run instructions for the diff gears said for first tow drive a small distance, then let cool then repeat worked out to be a good reason to take the bike out.

Seems alot happier around town and towing with the 4.11
