Pinion seals on 74 cj diffs 44 and 30 open knuckle
What's involved in replacing the pinion oil seals
And anyone know part nos for the seals, can you use off the shelf bearing shop seals, or are they jeep Dana specfic

Go to your nearest CBC bearing Stockist. They will have an application list on their computer system but be aware you need to read between the lines for the Jeep application. Some of their model descriptions can be a bit incorrect. Don't accept an ordinary TC style seal. Insist on National or CR brand. If you get stuck give me a pm and I could post them down. If you need a copy of a workshop manual I could fax the appropriate pages to you. Also, if the yoke has a bad wear mark...grove.. on it you can get a speedi sleeve to repair it.
