Good price. I'm looking to upgrade shortly.. That seems about the best common price.

The only real changes are for the Summit and SRT models, otherwise it is pretty much the same with some minor electronic feature changes. The next real new model will be 2018.

Had my new MY15 Overland diesel delivered today.. Only been for a short spin for Friday fish and chips, but some very early thoughts/comparisons to the MY14 Limited:
- I thought ACC was going to be a bit of a gimmick I wouldn't use, but seems to be ok
- Cruise control seems to maintain set speed better down hills etc. The Ltd seemed to coast freely above what was set (maybe an update I needed?)
- The collision avoidance/sensor seems a bit too eager for my liking (crapped myself the first time it went off with big red 'BRAKE!!!' up on the EVIC
- Love the DAB radio - always though AM reception on my Ltd was crap, so DAB is great at least in the city area
- minor updates to uConnect and EVIC display are good. uConnect GPS seems more responsive and you can enter addresses while moving
- doesn't seem quite as peppy - <100km on it so as it runs in/transmission learns I expect it to get a tad better
- difference in interior trim marginal, not sure I like the Overland steering wheel, sunroof good for a novelty
- wheel arches and skirts are color coded which I don't think I like - will look crap when scratched up compared the black plastic on the Ltd.
That's about all I can think of so far. If there is any specific comparisons you'd like, let me know. I need to move the 276x65x18s, two-way and some other bits over..
I'll check the manual again, but what is the good word on any run-in requirements? Just don't flog it?

Congratz on the new overland.
ACC is awesome I use it literally all the time.
I also crapped my pants when the collision avoidance came on, actually still do, although it's probably only gone off 3 times in the 4-5 months I have had it.
My 2014 has just hit 5000 km and been noticing she is feeling more peppy the last week or 2, even with the bigger tyres on.

Congrats on your purchase rack201.
Re: Running in - Drive it as you normally would but don't over rev it through the gears. Wont hurt to let it labour in low gear up hills etc. Vary your speed on freeways. Don't tow for the first 500Klm's.....I think......better check the manual.
Above all.....enjoy
Cheers, Craig

What's size tyres are you guys running on the Limited & Overlander, 18" or 20" read somewhere in a motoring review the guy reckons WK2 will/would handle and ride better with the 18" tyres, I will not be 4wd in my overlander had to upgrade from a 2010 WH limited (caravan tug) because of a neck fusion 6'3" tall much bigger doors on the WK2. I have a highly modified XJ SII including my seat for 4WD. Pick up Overlander in about 8 days. The only other vehicle I could fit into was a Merc B Class not my style

I'm running 275x65r18s. I think it's generally held that this is the biggest you can go without major rubbing issues. Some tyres of this size may rub slightly if they have a particularly square shoulder profile.
This size worked fine on my non-quadralift WK2. Haven't put them on my new one yet.
