Default Mopar Coolant MIX

Getting ready to change Timing Belt & Water pump in my 2007 build CRD
The Mopar 5 Year Antifreeze/coolant recommends a minimum 50/50 mix which gives protection down to -37C. However I been told this is not necessary to be this 'strong' for UK & a weaker concentration wouldn't be as 'corrosive' to the system !

Whats your opinions on this as far as the corrosive element is concerned ?

If it's the Nulon LL Green concentrate the 50% mix covers you from 132c down to -37c.
A 33% mix has a range of 127c down to -18c. If I lived where it snowed regularly I'd be going with the 50:50 mix.

Going from a 33% mix to a 50% mix has its best advantages with the anti freeze properties rather than the anti boil.

i thought the jks used the orange or purple OAT or HOAT coolant, not the green shit. Whatever you put in it, flush out every last bit of what was there.
Apparently the different types can turn to jelly like crud and break your engine if they mix.

the mopar stuff in the JK CRD is the worst coolant every made, I have a belt change here, 83k, the mopar coolant has eaten the bottle from the inside and has a thick clay type mud in the coolant system. Every single CRD I do a belt change on that has mopar coolant in it at 100k has damaged water pumps. Use G-05 coolant or atleast piss in the system because atleast then it will have more protection then the mopar
crap.

I have plenty of pictures of rust forming inside the blocks due to mopar coolant if you would like.
Check my CRD facebook page I have a detailed write up on the mopar coolant and its effects and damage

Goodness me that coolant must be worse than I thought if it eats the coolant bottle! I will need to check mine immediately!

I admit its the only case that is this bad, but this auto CRD had always had issues running hot (has big front lights and a winch switch) in the front.
