The 'check engine light has come on a few times but i havent noticed any issues with the engine, ie. oil pressure is still good temp is ok and is still running fine. if i switch it off for 5 minutes and start it up again then its gone but while i was up teewah beach last week end it came on and when i put my foot down it would choke a bit then back fire through the snorkel and then it would go fine and it did this every time you put your foot down for a bit but then it was ok but the light was still on and again everything looked ok. so i left it over night then started it up and the light was still on and did the same but then on the way home it was running fine and the light just went away.
any help would be appreciated

check the o rings for the oil filter housing and replace them before the rear main , you might be surprised
